SIM SÃO PAULO’s fourth edition takes place between December 7th and 11th and brings a richer professional programme and a bigger live acts line-up.

From the 7th to 11th of December, the paulista capital will become the stage for the fourth edition of São Paulo Music Week (SIM SÃO PAULO), one of the most important music conventions in Latin America. During five days, the city becomes a meeting point for professionals from all sectors of the music industry, as well as artists and media from both Brazil and abroad.

The event focus on the new music market and reassure its intention of putting in evidence new ideas and concepts, which are transforming the music scene. In 2016, SIM São Paulo also reaffirms its vocation to empower and connect people, introducing activities that follow three different lines: 1. The presentation of new music trends (SIM LIVE);  2. Access to up-to-date and relevant information (CONVENTION); and 3. Incentives to form new partnerships (Business and Networking).

SIM LIVE is a branch of the event dedicated to live music and. It is presented in two different moments: daily showcases, scheduled to take place at Centro Cultural São Paulo (CCSP), from the 8th to the 10th, from 3pm to 8h30pm, and the parties and concerts, which will happen from 9pm on at many venues and clubs.

The CONVENTION will cover lectures, speeches, keynotes, debates and workshops. There will be 48 panels at CCSP (20 more than last year), from the 8th to the 10th, from 11pm to 8h30pm. A real knowledge/experience sharing party, with participants from more than 12 countries.

Business and Networking is the music convention’s business branch. At the PRO AREA (exclusive lounge for registered professionals), people will be able to hang around as participate in cocktails, closed and open meetings, speed-meetings, pitchings, meet-ups and more, creating opportunities for partnerships in Brazil and abroad.

A major innovation for this year’s event is the extra content about tecnology, politics, ecology, culture, citizenry, creative economy, and much more, during the CONVENTION. Kids will also have a special place at SIM and more activities will increase the reach of SIM SOCIAL, building a bigger and stronger connection with the suburbs of São Paulo.

As always, music fans are also invited. The concerts and parties will all be open to the public in general, with ticket sales at affordable prices. The opening event on the 7th and all the showcases at CCSP will have free entrance.
